This is one of Ireland’s longest established markets and there are a good variety of traders here most weekends. Being a permanent venue most traders operate from lock-up shop units so there tends to be a much greater amount of stock displayed than in markets where traders bring their stock away with them. A very short walk from Blackrock DART station and the town is also served by the 5, 7, 7A, 8, 17, 45, and 114 bus routes.

Always worth a look, and there are two good secondhand/antiquarian booksellers nearby too – Raven Books http://www.ravenbooks.ie/ at 12 Carysfort Avenue, and Carraig Books http://www.carraigbooks.com/ at 73 Main Street.
